Shaw has always identified as a jack of all trades. In past lives he has worked as a musician, wine specialist, yoga instructor, Ayurvedic practitioner, and care giver. 5 years ago Shaw became active in the Boulder startup community through working out of SCRIB coworking. Eventually he took on the role of Director of SCRIB, a role that would morph into serving as the program manager on Boomtown's founding team. As Boomtown's Community Director Shaw's role is focused on overseeing Demo Day, and leading expansion projects outside of the state.
