Looking for something a little more zen? Then come to this FREE yoga and meditation fundraiser for Nepal earthquake victims. Earlier this morning, another earthquake—this time a 7.3 magnitude—hit Nepal.
You can sign up for the event on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/events/1593209854292011/.
Please come with your own yoga mats. Those individuals willing to make a donation will be eligible to receive a limited amount of great prizes and gifts, including yoga mats and gear from our partners at Gaiam and lululemon, gift certificates from Yellow Belly Chicken, and massage therapy from Colorado Body Wisdom. Rowdy Mermaid Kombucha and Eldorado Springs are generously donating beverages as well.
This event begins promptly at 6pm at Naropa University’s Nalanda Campus (63rd and Araphaoe), so please come early to register and get your spot. At 6:30pm, we will have three simultaneous classes: Vinyasa with Gina Caputo; Align and Flow with Jeanie Manchester, and a Tonglen Meditation with Judy Lief. At 7:30pm, Boulder icon Richard Freeman will lead a Pranayama practice for everyone. Naropa’s own Director of Yoga Studies, Nataraja Kallio, will be serving as the co-Master of Ceremonies, along with Waylon Lewis of Elephant Journal.
And, please help us spread the word by sharing this online fundraising link (www.crowdrise.com/yogafornepal), and use #YOGAforNEPAL on social media, and share with your friends, family, and coworkers.
