UX Lessons for Startups (Design Lightning Talks) Full

Limited Capacity seats available

Join us to hear three veteran startup design and UX leaders share the lessons they've learned.

Andy Montgomery / All Design Jobs are (Not) Created Equal: Designing for digital agencies and startups (or small product companies) can be very different. This talk will look at the pros and cons of both environments and make some recommendations for those starting out their career or those considering a change.

Dave Stadler / Small Team, Big UX: In a startup everyone has to wear multiple hats to get things done. This is how to work smarter with less resources.

Jeff Zabel / The Dark-Horse prototype: As a startup, creating a superior design can be achieved through testing iterative prototypes.  What might not be clear is that prototyping doesn’t always equal iteration; specifically, a prototype doesn’t always mean testing a possible final solution.  Sometimes it means creating a long-shot design that’s only purpose is to inform a later design or that is a far-out concept that has potential to turn out big.
