Brad has his MS in Physics from Clarkson University and a PhD in atmospheric science from the University of Colorado at Boulder. He specializes in applied mathematics and data assimilation. After his postdoctoral research on field alignment and hybrid data assimilation at NOAA. After that he worked in the wind energy industry improving short term wind forecasts. He now works as a data scientist at Vaisala.
